TELEMARKETING CONSENT
I, the customer/potential customer, expressly, explicitly, and positively confirm and authorize Sukoon Insurance PJSC (“Sukoon”) and/or its associate partners to contact me anytime through Sukoon’s telemarketing channels [including phone calls (live agents and automated systems), emails, SMS, messaging apps, instant messaging applications, in-app notifications, digital platforms, websites] for (i) selling, offering, promoting, marketing, advertising Sukoon’s insurance products and/or services (“Telemarketing”) purposes, and/or for any other reason in relation to my proposal form, insurance policy, insurance claim.
I confirm that (i) my preferred language is English, all my communications and telemarketing should be in English language; (ii) my chosen channel of Telemarketing communication is via and any of emails, phone calls (landlines or mobile phones), text messages/SMS, chat boxes, instant messaging, internet, websites, apps, in-app notifications, social media, digital platforms, websites, and other applications; (iii) my preferred method of contact is through agents (either natural/human or artificial intelligence agents or robocalls, bots, automated systems) (iv) my requested types of products and/or services are insurance related products or services (including life insurance, medical insurance, motor insurance, travel insurance, home insurance, personal accident insurance).
I further confirm that (i) I am voluntarily opting in and providing this Telemarketing consent and that (ii) I am aware that this consent is not a condition of purchase of any Sukoon products and/or services, which I can still obtain from Sukoon branches/agents without this consent (iii) I can withdraw my consent anytime without cost or adverse consequence by sending an email to Opt-out@sukoon.com (iv) I am aware of and I have had sufficient time to consider, read, and understand the applicable Terms and conditions and this telemarketing consent before making an informed and voluntary decision.
Wherever I initiate a request call to Sukoon to get information about certain products and/or services, I further explicitly confirm my consent for Sukoon to call me back.
I further confirm my understanding any confirm my consent for Sukoon to record Telemarketing calls including to verify the contents of the call.
I further confirm that I am over 18 years old, of legal age, and this express consent specifically overrides and supersedes over any DNCR (do not call registry) listing, which I am voluntarily waiving.
This consent and authorisation shall remain valid unless I withdraw the same.
TELEMARKETING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
THESE TELEMARKETING TERMS AND CONDITIONS ("TERMS") CONSTITUTE A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE APPLICANT(S), INSURED(S), POLICYHOLDER (“I”; “You”, “Your”, “Customer”) AND SUKOON INSURANCE PJSC (“Sukoon”, “We”, “Our”) AND GOVERNS TELEMARKAETING SERVICES IN RELATION TO SUKOON’S PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES VIA TELEMARKETING CHANNELS.
BY PROCEEDING, YOU AGREE TO HAVE PROVIDED THE (i) TELEMARKETING CONSENT AND (II) TO HAVE AGREED AND CONSENTED TO THE BELOW TERMS:
1. Sukoon agrees to conduct telemarketing activity where you have provided consent. You agree and acknowledge that your consent is not required where you are an existing customer and communications fall within permissible scope under UAE laws and regulations, including for customer service calls.
2. Wherever you provide your consent and/or wherever you initiate a call to Sukoon, you specifically confirm that your consent/your call to Sukoon seeking more details/requesting follow up calls is meant to specifically supersede and override your registration on the Do-Not-Call-Registry, and that you then specifically authorise Sukoon to contact you for Telemarketing activity despite your registration on Do-Not-Call-Registry.
3. Sukoon agrees to conduct Telemarketing Activity only during hours as permitted under relevant regulations, unless where you specifically authorise Sukoon to call you outside these permitted hours. You agree and acknowledge that such call if any initiated outside permitted hours will only be made based on your request and to assist you with your queries and/or concluding your initiated transaction.
4. Sukoon hereby informs to the customer and confirms that:
• The customer can withdraw the consent at any time, without cost or adverse consequence;
• Agreement of receiving Telemarketing is not a condition of purchase of Sukoon’s product and/or services;
• The customer can opt-out of receiving further Telemarketing immediately and without cost by sending an email to Opt-out@sukoon.com. Upon receiving such request, Sukoon will make all endeavours to remove any telemarketing activity to your requested number within 5-10 business days from receiving such request. In some occasional instances additional time may be required.
• Customer can access support services by contacting 800-SUKOON (785666) or sending an email to service@sukoon.com. For suggestions or complaints in relation to any unwanted telemarketing communication, customers can write to complaints@sukoon.com. If the complaint is not resolved within the period as prescribed by relevant laws and regulations then the Customer has the right to raise a compliant with Ombudsman unit.
• Customers can submit complaints and also register in the Do-Not-Call Registry (DNCR).
5. General Terms: Words in the singular shall include the plural and vice versa; a reference to one gender shall include a reference to the other genders. Headings are for convenience purposes only and do not limit its applicability. If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect (ii) Sukoon may amend these Terms without notice, and continued use of Sukoon products/services will constitutes acceptance of modifications. (iii) Sukoon may suspend, restrict, or terminate these terms and Telemarketing services anytime and without notice (iv) These Terms will be governed by the laws of the onshore/mainland UAE. Disputes if any will be subject to onshore/mainland UAE courts exclusive jurisdiction.
